Trackwork
Planned trackwork is taking place on
Saturday 23 May on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the
Trip Planner.
- T1 Western Line: Early morning or late-night Richmond trains run between Richmond and Central, platforms 1-14 only, making extra stops at Granville and Auburn. From 6.30am to 10.30am, trains make extra stops at Burwood.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City via Regents Park. Change at: Cabramatta for buses to Canley Vale, Fairfield, Yennora, Guildford and Merrylands, or Lidcombe for trains towards Granville or T1 Western Line stations. From 6.30am to 10.30am, Inner West trains run between Ashfield and the City Circle only. Leppington trains make extra stops at Homebush and Croydon.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City. You may need to change trains if travelling to Inner West stations.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland. Trains run to a changed timetable between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction. From 3am to 11.30am, buses replace trains between Waterfall and Sutherland. Trains run to a changed timetable between Sutherland and Bondi Junction.
- T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City via Regents Park, and between Schofields and Olympic Park. Change at: Lidcombe for trains towards Schofields or Leppington, or Cabramatta or Granville for buses to Canley Vale, Fairfield, Yennora, Guildford or Merrylands. Early morning or late-night trains will run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Central, platforms 1-14.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency, every 30 minutes.
- Blue Mountains Line: Some trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Blacktown and Lidcombe.
- South Coast Line: From 3am to 11.30am, buses replace trains between Dapto, Port Kembla and Sutherland. Trains run to a changed timetable between Bomaderry, Kiama and Dapto, and T4 Illawarra trains run between Sutherland and Bondi Junction. The first train to South Coast Line stations leave Bondi Junction at 10:13, Wollongong at 12:08, arriving Kiama at 12:52.
- Southern Highlands Line: From 4.40am to 5.30pm, buses replace trains between Goulburn, Moss Vale and Campbelltown. T8 Airport & South Line trains run between Campbelltown and the City via the Airport. The 16:05 Moss Vale to Campbelltown train will continue to run, leaving Moss Vale at 16:49 and run up to 47 minutes later than the normal timetable.
